To a WEIRD year! 🎉

What? It's already the middle of January? But I'm still picking up confetti off the floor and finding glitter in the recesses of the sofa.

(Not really. I rang in the new year playing board games online with friends and learning how multiple video games celebrate the new year. Those close to me are torn between Animal Crossing and World of Warcraft having the better celebration. What's your favorite?)

Last week we talked about softer goals. What we haven't talked about yet it how to work toward them in a way that aligns with your energy and authenticity.

That's where the WEIRD process comes in.

You might be familiar with my framework for making a change in a playful, curious, and of course, weird way. Because change always feels a little weird, it's best to embrace it! It's also helpful to give ourselves permission to be weird - to lean into the parts of ourselves we were always told were wrong or "too much" - toward finding the rhythms and patterns that light us up and work best for us. Because your life is yours and you get to live it your way. It may take time to let this truth sink in and feel safe in your body (for many of us, it's a lifelong journey), but it's a worthy pursuit.

We'll be deep-diving into the WEIRD process starting next week, spending time on each phase to help you understand and apply it to the scary-yet-exciting changes you hope to make this year that might bring you that much closer to yourself and an energy-aligned life.

I look forward to going on the journey with you. Stay tuned for more!
